The mission of Teen Success, Inc. is to transform the lives of teen mothers and their children by helping them become educated, self-sufficient, valued members of society. The Teen Success program provides a springboard for teen mothers to be successful by helping them finish high school, avoid having a second child as a teen, and develop concrete goals and plans for their futures. Through weekly support groups, teen mothers receive professional guidance and develop trusting, supportive relationships with their peers, which together inspire and empower them to reach their potential. Demonstrated Record of Success A 2008 external evaluation of the Teen Success program compared outcomes for teen mothers enrolled in the program with teen mothers who were not exposed to the program. Teen Success members were more likely to: - Graduate high school or obtain a GED - Pursue higher education or vocational training - Avoid pregnancy Teen Success, Inc. is growing! As part of a three-year growth plan, TSI is expanding to reach more than 900 new teen mothers.
